Our Mission ~

Meadowlark Farms is a small aviary specializing in Gouldian & Exotic Finch health, nutrition, and education. We have dedicated our lives to the research of these small birds. Our goal, always, is to raise happy, healthy and prolific birds while expanding our knowledge and expertise. We then bring our research results to you in the form of articles and social media posts.

Why Don't We Answer On The Weekends???

We don't answer on weekends or holidays because family time is too important. Like many other corporations, we give our employees weekends and holidays off. They work hard - often in excess of 60 hours per week (with Kristen working 80+) - and have earned a well deserved break at the end of each week.

We ship orders and answer emails Monday through Friday. We are closed all weekends as well as local and Federal holidays. While our store & site will still be accessible, the store is "technically" closed weekends, holidays, and while we attend fairs & shows.

Most orders received before 3:30 pm Eastern Time are shipped the same day (our shipping companies close at 5pm), but no later than the next business day. After fairs & shows, orders are filled pending inventory availability the first business day following the event.

Shipping often estimates high - if it is more than the actual cost, we will refund the overage at the time of shipping, even if it is only a few pennies!
