***NOTE: Word of caution - in our experience and from years of measuring their water intake, an average healthy Gouldian drinks approximately 1/2 ounce of water per day. However, do not make the mistake of assuming your bird will only drink 1/2 ounce!!! Every bird will drink more or less depending on their environment. Heat, humidity and food content will play a large role in the amount of water they drink. Please be sure to observe your bird's water container and fill daily!
